Pharmactive continues strengthening Liboost®’s international presence through a new strategic collaboration with Pnfarma, now serving as the exclusive distributor of Liboost® for Brazil’s pharmacy channel.

The partnership was officially introduced during Liboost®’s recent presentation in Brazil, where the ingredient generated strong interest among healthcare and wellness professionals, reflecting the increasing attention surrounding natural approaches to sexual wellness and vitality.

As one of Latin America’s most dynamic wellness markets, Brazil represents an important opportunity for the development of differentiated science-backed ingredients targeting unmet consumer needs.

According to Dayane Azevedo Rodriguez do Carmo, Head of R&D at Pnfarma, scientific literature highlights the growing relevance of sexual wellness support within the Brazilian population.

“In Brazil, it is estimated that nearly 30% of men experience some type of sexual dysfunction. In women, sexual response results from a complex interaction between biological, psychological and relational factors. Epidemiological data indicate that approximately 46.2% of the Brazilian female population reports some degree of sexual dysfunction.”

For Pnfarma, these figures underline the need for innovative wellness strategies capable of supporting intimacy, vitality and overall wellbeing.

As Dayane explains:

“While many manufacturers and distributors have focused their efforts on obesity and sports performance, few have developed solutions aimed at libido, which is often affected during weight loss processes, post-menopause, hormonal treatments and many other conditions. Libido is also part of health and vitality, and we believe the market needed a product capable of meeting this need.”

From Vitafoods Europe to Brazil

The origins of the partnership trace back to Vitafoods Europe, where Liboost® was first introduced to Pnfarma’s commercial director, Josiane Cozaro.

“Last year, Pnfarma participated in Vitafoods for the first time, and Luis Parra introduced Liboost® to our commercial director Josiane Cozaro, who immediately identified the product’s strong potential for the Brazilian market.”

Today, with Pnfarma leading Liboost®’s development within Brazil’s pharmacy sector, both companies begin a new stage focused on bringing innovative and differentiated wellness solutions to consumers increasingly interested in natural approaches to sexual health and vitality.
